Bill defines our business with his big heart. He is a third generation auctioneer with over 25 years experience. His passion is community service, and has donated his auction services to over 1,200 charity auctions. He raises approximately $3 million annually through his live auctions.
Bill has also donated his time as past President of both the Canadian Progress Club Calgary North and the Cosmopolitan Club of Calgary. He is a Calgary Flames Ambassador Executive Member, and has received the Emerald Teal award for his services to Ducks Unlimited Canada and the Tom Wagler Volunteer Award from Trout Unlimited Bow River Chapter.
Michelle is responsible for working with our clients to develop and execute a strategic plan, providing winning ideas for an exceptional fundraising event. She is also responsible for consigning all of Elevate Auctions’ memorabilia and partnership packages, providing clients with only the best goods to propel their fundraising to another level.
She has put her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary to good use, and comes to us with over 10 years of experience in gas marketing. As a result, Michelle has invaluable skills and insight when it comes to negotiations, marketing, and client relations. Being the mother of three young children has only sharpened those skills!
Renée brings passion for life and love of design to all that comes her way. Determined to exceed your expectation, you'll love her positive spirit and energy towards your event.
A graduate of the University of Calgary, Renee has a strong background in graphic design and communications, and extensive experience working with a variety of clients. She loves the challenge of developing strategies for clients and is known for her exceptional level of service and commitment.
Johan handles technology and programming and brings an extensive background in custom software development. He provides technical support to ensure our online auctions go off without a hitch, and uses his technical savvy to develop innovative ways to enhance our clients’ fundraising events.
Johan also runs a successful software business and was a finalist for the Bennett Jones Emerging Enterprise of the Year in 2006. His knowledge combined with his level of enthusiasm makes Johan a valuable asset to the Elevate team.
Matt is our operations guy. In his role, he makes sure everything runs smoothly, from finance to managing inventory (and egos) to providing insight, direction and strategy.
Matt brings a wealth of experience in aiding companies through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth, with a focus on technology and auctions. He was the first person in Western Canada to implement and manage an online wholesale automotive auction, and is the co-founder of Canadian Remarketing Group.
Cody is a second generation auctioneer and holds the distinction of being the youngest auctioneer in Canada, at least for a time (he graduated from Western College of Auctioneering in Billings, MT at 13yrs old).
He is also a graduate of the University of Calgary (Communications with Management and Entrepreneurship double minor) and brings forward great ideas to the company.
John Murray
John joins the team having worked in the auction industry for over ten years. A renowned ring-man, his quick fired humour and boundless energy are sure to turn your event into a fun filled experience.
A native of Ireland and proud father of triplets, he is guaranteed to find every last dollar on the auction floor.
