Reaching for the Stars Gala is an annual fundraising event hosted by Heritage Christian Academy offering a night of great entertainment by HCA Jazz band and Vocal Jazz, a fantastic meal and fabulous live and silent auctions on April 27. This year we are offering this online auction to include supporters of HCA who may not be able to attend the Gala.

HCA is a K-12 public alternative school in NE Calgary that inspires a commitment to Jesus Christ and excellence in academics, moral character and service to others. Our student body exemplifies diversity in economic and cultural backgrounds.

If you have ever sat on a squeaky, creaky, springy seat you’ll appreciate our fundraising goal for 2013 of $85,000 which will be used to improve the seating and stage area of our chapel/theatre and also support other school programming (like music). While this project meets the needs of the school, it also provides a space that may open the doors to the community for non-school events.
