On Sunday, December 1, the Calgary Hitmen, with the support of Petro-Canada, a Suncor Energy business, hosted the 19th annual Petro-Canada Teddy Bear Toss at the Scotiabank Saddledome. During Sunday’s game, players wore special teddy bear jerseys that fans can now bid on until Wednesday, December 11 at 9 p.m. Proceeds from the jersey auction will support the CBC Calgary Suncor Energy Food Bank Drive.
Winning bidders will be presented with the teddy bear jerseys following the Hitmen home game on Tuesday, December 17 against the Regina Pats. The winning bidder will be contacted the day after the auction closes to ensure payment and be provided with details for receipt of the game-worn jersey.
